Synopsis:
Go Ahead Tours is part of EF Cultural Tours, the worlds largest privately owned tour operator specialized in Education Travel. Go Ahead Tours is a product that specializes in the Adult North American Market.
Go Ahead Tours is looking for an Area manager for our headquarter in Luzern, Switzerland.
The Role
As Area Manager you will join the Operation team of Go Ahead Tours and coordinate the land travel arrangements for designated regions of the world specify the main purpose of the role.
Your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
•Negotiating contracts and securing bookings with hotels, restaurants, and tourist attractions
•Prospecting and identifying new business partners within your region
•Budget-setting and budget accountability at the end of the fiscal year.
•Product development. This includes developing new tours and improving existing itineraries.
•Settling accounts with your suppliers
•Quality-control
Requirements (All Candidates)
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Proven problem solver
• Self driven and flexible
• Fluency in English and Spanish (French and/or German are a plus)
Requirements (Optional)
• Knowledge of North American clientele
• Experience managing budgets
• 1-2 years professional experience in travel industry, including extensive travel experience.
Additional information
This job will require international travel.
