EF makes the biggest climb in Best Places to Work List

EF Education First has been ranked amongst the Best Places to Work, according to a survey carried out by Sweden's leading professional network, Nova Pro. The education company, founded by entrepreneur Bertil Hult, made the biggest jump in one year in the history of the survey; up 23 places from last year to spot number 21.
EF joins companies such as Google, McKinsey, Goldman Sachs, Ikea, and H&M, on this annual list. The rankings appeared in Dagens Industri, one of the country's largest business publications. The rankings are based on a survey conducted among 3,800 professionals in Sweden.
Louise Julian, recently appointed EF's Chairwoman, was thrilled with the survey results. "Creating an environment where people want to work is one of our major priorities. As a constantly growing service business, it is vital that we attract highly qualified people to work with us around the world. It's great to know that other people consider EF a desirable place to work."
Ms. Julian's own career reflects the company's ability to attract and retain talented individuals. Starting 23 years ago, Ms Julian has worked her way up from a junior position in Rome, through virtually every division of the company with positions at steadily rising levels of responsibility all over the world. Her broad experience in the business makes her uniquely qualified to understand how the culture of the company can and should evolve to meet the needs of today's staff.
