A town rich in history

Torquay is located in the idyllic south west county of Devon. It has been a favourite English destination since the late 18th century. Together with its two neighboring beach-towns of Paignton and Brixham, Torquay forms "The English Riviera" with 22 kilometers of golden sandy beaches. The area is blessed by a temperate gulf-stream climate and the most sunshine in England. Here you have it all: beautiful weather and surroundings and a safe, clean and peaceful environment to prepare for university.

International setting

Students from all over the world come to Torquay, creating a lively international environment in which to prepare or university life. Our school is located at EF House, one of the most prominent buildings in Torquay, just five minutes from the beach. The educational facilities are spacious and light and several of the classrooms have views of the sea. There are few better places to practice aqua sports. Our Activities Offices enables you to try your hand at sailing, windsurfing, parasailing and body surfing. There’s even an international airport in nearby Exeter, as well as top-ranked Exeter University.
